The governor stated this “Alhamdulillah. As part of our rural development drive, I commissioned the Dambatta Modern Cattle Market.
This market is part of the 5 different cattle markets that we are modernising across the state to ease livestock trading and boost our rural economy.
I also flagged-off the construction of the 11km Dambatta-Diggol road, which shall open up an important commercial and transportation corridor in the area.
From there, we similarly proceeded to flag-off the construction of the Wasai-Baita road in Minjibir Local Government Area.
Our day reached a crescendo with the commissioning of the 5km road in Gezawa Local Government Area. This solar-streetlight powered road is part of our plan to beautify and improve the quality of our rural roads, as contractors have now been fully mobilised to replicate the same in other local government areas of the state.
