Governor Yusuf Swears In Two Commissioners and Solicitor-General

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sworn in two Commissioners as members of the Kano State Executive Council and assigned them their respective portfolios.
The newly sworn-in Commissioners are:
Barrister Abdulkarim Kabiru Maude, SAN, appointed as Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Kano State.
Associate Professor Aliyu Isah Aliyu, appointed as Commissioner for the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development.
In addition, Barrister Salisu Muhammad Tahir was sworn in as Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice.
A statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Friday in Kano, said the event took place at the commencement of the 32nd Kano State Executive Council meeting, held at the Governor’s Lodge in Kwankwasiyya City.
The swearing-in ceremony marked a significant milestone in the governor’s administration, reflecting his commitment to building a team of competent and experienced professionals to advance the state’s development agenda.
In his remarks, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf charged the new appointees to serve with dedication, integrity, and humility. He stressed the importance of teamwork and synergy in achieving the government’s vision and meeting the expectations of the people of Kano State.
The governor further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing infrastructure development, education, healthcare, security, empowerment, and employment, pledging to work tirelessly toward improving the lives of the citizens.
